About:
Join us for our biggest event of the year, our annual Missouri Shoreline Cleanup! Since the year 2001, H2Ozarks has organized a litter cleanup around Table Rock Lake, Lake Taneycomo, and Bull Shoals Lake. In the course of over 25 years, we’ve organized hundred of volunteers, collected thousands of pounds of trash, and made a major impact in protecting our beloved lakes and natural spaces. Grab your friends, family, or coworkers, and get a team together to help for our 2026 cleanup! Cleanup supplies, like gloves and trash bags, are provided. All volunteers will receive a commemorative t-shirt! *Teams must turn in their trash tracking form to receive their shirts.
How to Volunteer:
- Register your team. Grab your friends, family or coworkers! The designated team leader will register once for their entire team. Team leaders will guide volunteers at their chosen cleanup site over the weekend, where they will help pick up litter from the shorelines to protect the beauty and water quality of our lakes.
- Pick your cleanup spot. Many teams have a particular spot they love on the lake that they want to clean up. If you’re not sure where to go, we can help you! Send us an email and we’d be happy to suggest some locations where you can clean.
- Clean your site! Trash bags, gloves, and other supplies will be provided for teams to pick up either a week in advance, or on the day of the cleanup. Be sure to take pictures to capture the fun!
- Track your trash. A trash tracking form will be made available on this page where you can log the number of bags, large bulky items, etc that your team collected. Trash numbers must be reported to collect your t-shirts at the end.
- Get your shirts! Every volunteer will get a commemorative event t-shirt to celebrate a job well done!

How do I track my trash?
We ask that all team captains report the amount of trash collected by their volunteers so that we can measure our total impact. In order to receive your event t-shirts, we request that you first submit your trash numbers.
We will update this page to include a link to the trash tracking form prior to the event date. Please check back or email us at CleanUp@H2Ozarks.org if you have any questions.
