We are proud to announce our newest addition to our H2Ozarks team, Mona Menezes. Starting mid-January, Mona will serve as the Missouri Projects Director. Mona has a master’s degree in forestry from MU, where she has had a long career in environmental conservation and sustainability.
For over a decade, Mona worked for the City of Branson, and is a sustainability specialist, leading hundreds of stream cleanups, and other public events. In her free time, she enjoys spending time hiking, biking, and teaching computing to senior citizens. Mona is multi-talented, where she has created and managed social media and webpages, secured funding and large grants, and was even named Rotarian of the Year!
As our new Missouri Projects Director, she will help launch our upcoming Fall Water Conference in 2022, improve our Clean Marinas program, help with our grant applications, LTWMP, and our Shoreline Clean-up events. We look forward to her joining the family and bringing her experience to help us have Cleaner Water Together!
